What it does

Banana Gun is a Telegram sniper and trading bot. You send a contract address to a chat and it handles the buy, so you are not connecting a wallet to a DEX in a browser during a launch. It covers Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Base and MegaETH from one session.

Where Maestro competes on chain count, Banana Gun competes on execution quality: MEV protection on by default, a simulation before every trade to catch honeypots, and a strong first-block hit rate on Ethereum snipes.

Why people use it

  • MEV protection by default on every trade, on every chain, not an opt-in setting.
  • Pre-trade simulation that catches honeypots before your money moves.
  • Cheaper manual buys on Ethereum at 0.5%, against the 1% most competitors charge.
  • Free stablecoin swaps in USDT, USDC and DAI across EVM chains.
  • Buy, sell, DCA and copy trade in one window.
  • Fee sharing: 40% of platform trading fees go to BANANA holders automatically.

How to use it

  1. Open Banana Gun in Telegram using the button above and check you are on the official bot.
  2. Send /start to create your wallet, then back up the keys immediately.
  3. Fund it with the native token of the chain you want to trade.
  4. Paste a token contract address to open a buy panel, or set up a snipe before launch.
  5. Set slippage and priority fees before you need them, not mid-launch.

Risks worth knowing

Banana Gun holds a wallet for you, which means your private key sits on their infrastructure. That is the trade-off across every Telegram trading bot, and Banana Gun has an incident that shows what it means in practice.

In September 2024, an exploit in the Telegram message oracle let attackers drain roughly $3 million from 11 users. The bug was patched, and every affected user was fully reimbursed from the treasury without selling tokens. The handling was better than most, but the episode is the clearest illustration of the category's core risk.

Sensible practice:

  • Keep only trading funds in the bot and sweep profits to a wallet you control.
  • Never paste a seed phrase into a bot.
  • Verify the bot handle. Clone bots exist to steal keys.
  • Sniping launches is the highest-risk activity in crypto, and most new tokens go to zero.

Behind the app

Banana Gun is an independent trading bot project with its own BANANA token and a public blog at bananagun.io. It is not affiliated with Telegram.

Frequently asked questions

What is Banana Gun?
Banana Gun is a Telegram trading and sniper bot. You buy, sell, DCA and copy trade from a chat window instead of a DEX website. It runs Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Base and MegaETH from one unified session.
How much does Banana Gun charge?
Fees are tiered rather than a flat rate. Manual buys and limit orders on Ethereum are 0.5%, and the auto-sniper on Ethereum is 1%. Stablecoin swaps in USDT, USDC and DAI are free across every EVM chain. Confirm current rates in the bot, since fee tiers change.
Is Banana Gun safe? What happened in the 2024 exploit?
In September 2024 an exploit in the Telegram message oracle let attackers move ETH out of 11 users' wallets, draining around $3 million. The vulnerability was patched and every affected user was fully reimbursed from the project treasury without selling tokens. It is a real incident worth knowing about, and it illustrates the category risk, because the bot holds a wallet for you and a bug in the bot can reach your funds.
What is MEV protection and does Banana Gun include it?
MEV protection stops bots front-running or sandwiching your trade, which otherwise costs you a worse price. Banana Gun applies it by default on every trade on every supported chain, rather than as an option you have to switch on.
Does Banana Gun check for honeypots?
Yes. It simulates a trade before executing so it can catch honeypot contracts, tokens you can buy but never sell, before your funds move.
What is the BANANA token for?
Banana Gun distributes 40% of platform trading fees to BANANA holders, paid out automatically every few hours with no staking or lock-up. There is a minimum qualifying balance.
Which chains does Banana Gun support?
Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Base and MegaETH, unified into one Telegram session so you do not switch bots per chain.
