What happened
The reporter sent this account $100 to have it credited to a wallet. Once the payment went through, the account blocked them. Nothing was delivered and nothing was refunded.
How this scam works
The seller takes payment and then simply stops delivering. It works because the money moves first and the goods, if they exist at all, move never.
How to protect yourself
Never pay the full amount up front to someone you cannot hold accountable. Use an escrow both sides picked, split the deal into a small test payment first, and treat any pressure to skip that as the scam itself.
